BillWizard is made by Software Cowboy, an Australian software company that builds practical software for the real world.
Our mission
To give Australian households the best energy tool on the market: one that reads your bill, prices the whole market honestly, keeps watching it for you, and answers to you alone.
Who we are
BillWizard is a product of Software Cowboy Pty Ltd, a software company based in Sydney. Software Cowboy builds practical software for businesses and people who run on real-world operations, with two principles: simplicity over abstraction, and security as the foundation.
Software Cowboy was founded by Dylan Summerville, a self-taught software engineer who moved from lead generation and administration into programming, then designed and built the systems that run the operations, sales and quoting of a 70-person energy business. BillWizard comes from that work: years spent inside energy bills, plans and the market, turned into a tool for households.
How we work
- Honest numbers. Estimates are labelled, ranges are shown, and anything we can't source is left out.
- No conflicts. No retailer pays us, and we don't sell or install anything.
- Built carefully. Tested, secured and hosted in Australia. How BillWizard is built.
