The Wizard's Reading: your answer on one page

Every bill you upload gets a Reading. It's written to be understood at a glance, and to hold up when you look closer.

• The Short Reading: your estimated yearly saving in dollars and as a percentage, and the plan behind it.
• Your plan against the best match: both yearly costs side by side, including GST, so the gap is plain.
• The ranking: the plans that suit your home, in order of what you'd actually pay.
• A breakdown that adds up: supply, usage and solar feed-in, totalling exactly to the price quoted.
• A straight verdict: switch and save, or stay put if you're already on a fair deal.

The advanced report: the whole story

The advanced report is the analyst's version, built on top of your standard Reading. Where the Reading tells you what to do, the advanced report shows you why, section by section, so you finish able to question your own bill.

• It interprets, not just lists. Every section explains what its numbers mean for you.
• It covers what your bill allows: how your plan ranks, the wholesale view of your energy, solar returns, and gas when you have a gas bill.
• It never invents. Anything that can't be sourced is left out, not estimated to fill a gap.
• GST the way your bill does it: charges include GST, and solar feed-in credits are GST-free, as they are on a real bill.

Members get a monthly allowance of advanced reports. Each one is downloaded to you rather than stored with us: you keep your own copy.
